I refer to the public notice the "Noosa News" dated 10/09/15 concerning the vacant land at 17
Emerald Street, Cooray. If granted, the Cooray Noosa Genealogical & Historical Graup will
pravide a suitable building to house the graup's extensive library and facilities needed for
family research and local history events. It will be a great asset in Cooray with easy access,
especially for students.

Members and visitors will be able to spend quiet times there while looking for answers to their
enquiries. Plans have been approved by group members of which I am an enthusiastic one.

I would appreciate a favourable decision by Councillors when the discussion of the lease takes
place.
