RE: Automatic car machine at Noosa Car Spa (Eumundi-Noosa Road, Noosaville)

To Whom it may concern,

As you may already be aware the above mentioned business has only recently opened to the public.
Car wash bay #1 is fitted with a Washtec automatic car wash machine, and the owner would like to
install a second identical machine in car wash bay #2.

I have been asked to explain how this will not impact the stormwater system/connections at this
property.

Please consider that car wash bay #2 currently is fitted with “self serve” car wash equipment, and the
only change is that the bay will now be automated rather than self serve.

Please see below description of how water is currently used in the wash bay and with the additional
automatic machine will continue to be used in the wash bay:

Concrete bunding has also been installed at the entry & exit of each wash bay at this site to ensure
there is no cross over between trade waste (car wash water) and storm water. This is an additional
environmental measurement taken by the owner.

Please see attached supporting documentation/hydraulic plans illustrating the flow of water from the
wash bay pits into the settlement tank system mentioned above.
