Hi Noosa Council

 

I’d like to put on record my submission against this application for
four principal reasons:

1.      The type of intensive factory farming of chickens that has been
proposed is extremely cruel to the chickens and totally abhorrent. I
find it horrifying that the proposed density is 16.7 birds per square
metre.

2.      The food produced must surely be of inferior quality due to the
stressed living conditions of the chickens.

3.      Top Forestry Road is unsuitable to carry heavy traffic
associated with the broiler farm operations. 

4.      It is incompatible with Noosa’s biosphere status.
