3. Details of Submission
I (We), make the following submission:
I am supportive of the application as presented within the application material.
I consider the design, building layout, access, materials to be in keeping with Noosa Character for a resort of this size.
The planning scheme needs to consider that for 190+ rooms and associated facilities, small buildings are difficult, how
the architect has approached it with separation of buildings and connections with walkways is a brilliant idea.
Using open walkways and placing the awnings over them for weather protection but still allowing natural breezes and
light has been really well though through.
The keeping of vegetation on Serenity Close presents very well in contrast to development across the road which has
had to introduce vegetation back onto their sites after clearing.
Retention of existing trees compared to the existing resort approval show that more vegetation is being retained,
which is a good thing.
(if necessary, use separate sheet of paper and attached)
