Proposal: Multiple Dwelling (Patio Roof)
I am writing to request a Generally in Accordance determination for a proposed Multiple
Dwelling (Patio Roof) at the above-mentioned property.
The following item/s are considered to be generally in accordance with the approval granted
under 10392 TC:
• Replacement of existing shade sails (refer to photo below) with the proposed
patio roof.

The following reasons support this request:
• The building footprint is already created by the existing shade sail. The patio is a
minor structure that does not increase the gross floor area.
• The current shade sail is not efficient in shielding out the rain and sun. The new
proposed patio roof will ensure rain and sun is protected.
• The patio is a small, open structure that will not impact on the existing development.
Included with this application is an email from Council confirming that a Generally in
Accordance application is required.
Given the above, it is considered appropriate that the proposed plans be deemed generally
in accordance with the approval granted under 10392 TC.
