GENERAL COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 17 OCTOBER 2016
Our Systems and Processes
We have a focus on improving our systems to allow more online transactions to enable our
community to have 24/7 access to various services. In relation to online payments, the
spike in online payments in August was directly related to the rates period and there is a
slight increase in the year on year trend for all online payments.
Requests for services which are lodged online (as a percentage of total requests) are
slowly increasing. Currently, only around 10 to 15% of customer requests are lodged
online via our website. We have recently promoted the use of the App – Snap Send Solve.
This enables people to use their mobile phones to capture issues and send them to Council
via an email. When added to the web based option, we can see that almost 25% of our
requests are now “online”.
