Trees along the eastern edge of Pinaroo Park may also suffer as a result of renewed road construction.
(Group 6 on aerial map). Assurances have been made by the client that minimising negative effects of
road construction to vegetation on the Eastern edge of Pinaroo Park will be a priority. Leaving existing ma-
sonary and tar seal in situ and building the new footpath on top of this may be a solution.
The interface from Noosa Drive roundabout through the park could be constructed utilising an existing
sparce area in the park vegetation. (Area A on the aerial map).
The use of the Australian Standard A.S. 4970-2009 and amendment 1-2010, Protection of trees on devel-
opment sites is recommended for all planning works where existing trees may be required by government
authorities to be retained.
The standards can be purchased online for approximately $90.00 from SAI GLOBAL.
