Good morning,

it was brought to my attention that a chicken slaughter/boilery is awaiting approval in Cooroy?
Can you please confirm that this is true.

If it is true, I would like to speak against such a business in our community. Studies show that factory farming contribute to global warming on a grand scale; never to mention that more and more people are becoming aware of animal cruelty and do not wish that.
The thought of trucks carting live and dead chicken through the township and of having such a business in our midst is heart breaking, and I object to a business like this in Cooroy.
