Subject: bm BCS 134 A4 Out door dining From: David Tynan Date: 2013-11-17T13:53:33+00:00 To: Internet Mailbox Sunshine Coast Regional Council Assessment Manager Sunshine Coast Council Dear Sir I am the owner of 68 Noosa Parade Noosa and I wished to express my total support for the direction your council has been taking the whole dining experience for local residents as well as tourists in Noosa ,Noosaville as well as Sunshine Beach Judy and I as well as a number of our friends have owned property in other well known holiday destinations for even longer than we have been owners in Noosa We have no doubt that the attraction of the ambience created by your local restauranters has been a very significant factor in the reason so many of us come so regularly to Noosa for holidays as well as weekend visits The restauranters working with the local bodies have positioned Noosa as a very special food destination I understand that you are reviewing the Quamby Place outdoor dining situation in order to make a decision as to how future approvals for outdoor dining should be handled I would like to give my whole hearted support for outdoor dining at Quamby Place for the very significant benefits it brings to Noosa with very little negative impact We do not need more car parking as most patrons enjoy a very enjoyable walk to this central location Only a small part of the park is used for dining Noise is minimal A lot of the patrons with children can watch the their children play in the park while they enjoy the outdoor dining Please call me if you would like to discuss further the views of many of my colleagues who live near by to Quamby Place Regards David Tynan GPO Box 2707 Brisbane Qld Australia 4001 E.
