4.    The Estimated Cost of Implementing the Overall Plan
The levy will raise $525,000 over three financial years from 2023/24 to 2025/26 financial years. This
amount will be used to develop a plan for the re-development of the streetscape in the Noosa
Junction locality. This plan will outline the scope of street scaping work to be undertaken and the
anticipated cost of those works. At the end of that scoping stage, Council and the Noosa Junction
Association will together determine whether or not the street scaping project will proceed and if so,
how that project will be managed and funded (including funding via a special levy)

5.    Estimated Time for Implementing the Overall Plan
The estimated time for carrying out the overall plan is by 30 June 2025. It is anticipated that a levy
will be made in future years if Council (in consultation with the Noosa Junction Association)
determines that the street scaping project for Noosa Junction will proceed.
