6.7.1        Applicable Assessment Instrument
The Noosa Plan 2020 (version Amendment 1 25 Sep 2020) is the applicable Local Categorising Instrument
for this development application.
In accordance with Schedule 8 of the Planning Regulation 2017, the assessment manager for this
application is Noosa Shire Council.

6.7.2        Zone/Precinct
The subject site is located within the Local Centre Zone within the Coastal Communities local plan Area,
refer to Figure 3

6.7.3        Level of Assessment
Pursuant to the Tables of Assessment for the Local Centre Zone, the proposed material change if use for an
office use requires code assessment.

6.7.4        Overlays
Overlays affecting the site are listed in Table 2. Details of the responses to the applicable overlay codes are
provided in section 6.7.5. The relevant overlay maps (Acid Sulfate Soils) are shown in Figure 4.
