undertake over the next 12 months to work towards the implementation of the Noosa
Corporate Plan 2014-19.
The Operational Plan forms part of a package of council planning documents including the
Corporate Plan and annual budget which guide the organisation in delivering outcomes for
the Noosa community. The Operational Plan and annual budget have been developed as a
package to ensure these major priorities and initiatives including core business service

Reviewing and developing key strategies and policies
Developing and implementing our community engagement model
Implementing the new management model for the Noosa Biosphere Reserve
Focusing our asset program on asset renewals
Enhancing our customer service
Updating and maximising our use of ICT systems

“The Fine Print”
The Local Government Act and Regulations require certain statutory requirements to be
included in an Operational Plan. This part of our Operational Plan meets those
requirements:-
As part of council’s commitment to managing business risks, Council has in place an
Enterprise Risk Management Policy and Procedure ISO 31000, to identify and report on
strategic and operational risks as required;
The Council will receive reports on a quarterly basis from the CEO on progress towards
achieving the initiatives identified in this Operational Plan; and
The Council does not have any commercial business units as defined by the Local
Government Act and Regulation.
