4895-Geotech Assessment
Mr Max Richardson 20362-001-Rev0
C/- Long View Consulting Engineers Pty Ltd 28 July 2021
All collected waters (including overflow from rainwater tanks, driveway culvert discharge, etc.) must be
directed by pipes or turf/rock-lined channels and not onto any cut or fill batter to discharge at least 5 m down
slope of any structures and earthworks, with the outlet zone protected by stacked rock or grouted stone
pitching.
Subsurface disposal of stormwater must not be undertaken (including infiltration pits).
It is anticipated that land application of treated wastewater from the proposed residence will likely take place
further west of the proposed house site on the ridgeline. It is recommended that surface irrigation of
wastewater should be adopted and that irrigation should only occur on slopes of 20% or less.
5.0 SUMMARY & CONCLUSIONS
Based on the findings of our assessment we consider that there would be a Low Risk of slope instability
impacting the proposed development. This advice is subject to implementation of the recommendations
given in this report.
