Consultation
External Consultation - Community & Stakeholder
The benefit of using RCA to conduct the survey means volunteer citizen scientists are automatically
engaged in the process and able to promote the results with the communities they live in. Council
officers will work with RCA to ensure the results are shared widely with the community and relevant
stakeholders.
Internal Consultation
Internal consultation between the Natural Areas, Rivers and Coast, and Climate Change
Adaptation staff of the Environment & Sustainable Development Department has been undertaken,
and consultation with Council’s Procurement Branch. Further consultation with the Community
Services and Infrastructure Services departments will be undertaken as part of the project rollout.
