I wish to inform you of my objection to planning application MCU10/2083 for the Nursery site at 37 Gibson Rd Noosaville. Some of my reasons are as follows:

 

*	The original developers Covenants did not allow businesses or cottage industries to be run from the Noosa Waters Estate and was one of the factors in me deciding 10 years ago to purchase my home here in a quiet residential community.
*	There is no local need for this type of development which justifies the rezoning of the nursery site from Residential use under the Noosa Plan to Commercial use.
*	Residents already have sufficient shopping, restaurants, takeaways etc within a short distance –there is no need for more.
*	I consider it disgraceful that such a proposal includes an entrance/exit access into Skipper Place a very quiet small residential street in Noosa Waters Estate.
*	Surrounding residents need to be protected from the negative impact of noise, cooking smells, vehicle exhaust fumes, bright lighting, rubbish odours, late night traffic drawn to the area etc
