Audited Annual Financial Statements
Tourism Noosa have provided a copy of their annual audited financial statements each year
since 2015. This allows for some consideration of trends over time in terms of financial analysis.
Clearly, the 2020 financial year has been a difficult one for many organisations in the tourism
sector including Tourism Noosa. The following are of interest:
Revenue Growth and Mix
Since 2015 total revenue has grown from $2.3 million to $3.2 million, an increase of $904k or
39%. The revenue growth has resulted from Tourism levy increases of $788k or 45% (resulting
from 2016-2017 funding being redirected to Tourism Noosa previously allocated to other parties -
i.e. Sunshine Coast Destinations Limited, Triathlon sponsorship) and increases in other revenue
sources of $116k or 9%. Note these results include job keeper cash flow support of $186k
received in 2020 as part of government economic stimulus measures.
Total Revenue Growth excluding Interest ($’000)
                                                                        Non Tourism levy
                                                                            revenue reduced
                                                                            significantly by $237k
                                                                            or 33% between
