Regarding vacant land at 17 Emerald Street Cooroy
The Group’s dedicated volunteers have worked hard over 18 years to fundraise for a new Heritage facility for the community.
They have been asking the Council to help them obtain land for many years.
As well as its focus on family history research, it also provides a large collection of local history resources. Whilst the Noosa Library has a small collection, Cooroy Library has no facility.
I hope the group will be rewarded for their efforts in raising money for the purpose of building on the land.
