Vegetation Unit 1 represents the sole vegetation unit within the site and also occupies the site
to the immediate west where slightly greater stem density is present.

This community exhibits an average canopy height of 26m with Projective Foliage Canopy
Cover (PFCC) of 15%. Overall, the vegetation community displays indicative species diversity
of Regional Ecosystem 12.5.3 which is described as ‘Eucalyptus racemosa subsp. racemosa

lower slopes.

The vegetation was observed to be of moderate age (40-60 years) and is dominated by
Eucalyptus tereticornis with Corymbia intermedia sub-dominant. Pinus elliottii (exotic) is co-
dominant in the lot to the west of the site. Small populations of Melaleuca quinquenervia and
Lophostemon suaveolens were also represented. The midstorey is absent and the
groundcover dominated by a mix of native and exotic grasses subject to regular mowing. Plate
