The information requested is set out below:
Issue
The earthworks proposed for the access driveway and the future shed are significant and it is not clear if the submitted “Slope Risk Assessment Report” prepared by GA Geotechnical relates to just the proposed house or the entire works.
Information Required
Provide comment from the author of the “Slope Risk Assessment Report” that states the report relates to the entire works (house, shed and driveway) or alternatively provide an amended report that includes the entire works (house, shed and driveway).
Issue
Due to the topography and existing vegetation Council has some concerns with the available sight lines at the intersections of the access driveway with the road formation in Ewarts Road. It is noted that Ewarts Road has low traffic volumes and a gravel formation
Information Required
Provide additional detail from the design engineer for the driveway that includes:
the available sight lines
any works required to provide for suitable sight lines
an indication of the proposed direction of travel through the site (is the intention to have the entry at the eastern driveway and an exit at the western driveway?)
certification that the access driveways are suitable for the intended use
due date for response to information request
The due date for providing the requested information is 31 January 2020. Please advise Council of your response to this information request in accordance with section 13 of the Development Assessment Rules.
If you do not provide a response before the due date, it will be taken as if you have decided not to respond to the information request and Council will continue with the assessment of your application.
