6.3       SIDRA Analysis Results
The current configuration of this intersection is a three-legged roundabout arrangement, however has been
assessed with a fourth leg as the north-east approach for the proposed lot access road.
Two scenarios were assessed for the impact to the existing roundabout. Initially the traffic generation from
Lots 23, 24 and 25 were added to the background traffic (existing level of development at Noosa Civic) and
additionally a scenario where the whole masterplan was developed (lots 1-25). The impacts of these
scenarios are reported below.
The SIDRA assessed layout is illustrated on Figure 6-1.
