As demonstrated a transit facility can be accommodated in Lot 1 if required. The concept provides for a bus
interchange with four bus bays. It is noteworthy that there is currently no demonstrated need for an additional
sub–regional facility as the current interchange at existing Noosa Civic Centre caters for the current demand
and has additional capacity for future anticipated demand.
