This letter is to support the proposed development            at 215 David Low Way Peregian Beach.

I would like to see this development          go ahead for the following reasons:

        -      It is an infill development    site, set down off the David Low Way. with surrounding
               commercial uses
        -      Visitor accommodation         in this area is limited to larger homes for rent and most
               other accommodation       venues are not within walking distance
        -      The site has the advantage of adjoining the Rufous Street community           uses and
               the developer has proposed connectivity         to this area (whilst not trying to gain
               access to vehicular traffic) so that the ultimate users of the proposed Digital IT
               Hub will be able to utilise this accommodation        offer when they come to Peregian
               Beach for contract work or IT projects as indicated by Council will be a successful
               commercial enterprise
        -      The effect and confidence this development         will bring to the Peregian Beach
               business community will be positive and result in greater prosperity

As a local resident, I'm very keen for the long-awaited Essence project to proceed and have
no objections to the development         as proposed.
