Budget Actuals
With three months of the 2015/16 financial year complete, the Galleries’ team budget is $23,539
below the estimated budget position with revenue 7.9% ahead of projections and expenditure
1.8% less than estimated.
Expenditure is generally on target, with the underspend primarily due to the majority of Floating
Land payments being made in October following the close of the event.
General revenue in Galleries is $4,305 above estimated targets through increased commission
on sale of exhibited artworks and strong attendance at workshops.
The Gallery has received a $10,000 donation from the estate of the late Lyn McCrea to establish
the Lyn McCrea Memorial Drawing Prize. The funding will be used to develop the award and to
provide prize money over five years. The winning work will be acquired into the privately held
McCrea Collection.
Galleries do not have any capital works projects to complete in 2015/16.
