The Assessment Manager,
Sunshine Coast Council.
I object to the proposed battery farming operation by Steggles for the following reasons.
1. I strongly disapprove of battery farming operations. 
2. Battery farming operations are incompatible with the area’s sustainable biosphere status.
3.The proposed operation is inappropriate in a clean, green area and would negatively impact hinterland tourism.
4. The roads which would be affected – Top Forestry Road, Old Ceylon Road & Cooroy-Belli Road are totally unsuited to the volumes and sizes of the vehicles which would be using them.
5. The buildings proposed would negatively impact on the natural beauty of the area. They would be widely seen eyesores as they are proposed to
be located on the skyline.
6. There are risks of offensive odours and noise emanating from these buildings, together with the potential for liquid waste run-off polluting the environment.
