Re: Application No: MCU13/0087
Dear Sir/Madam,
I respond to your advertisement in the Noosa News of 24 September 2013 re "Proposed
development Have your say."
The problem with ’change of use’ for this site is that it would disenfranchise many in the local
huge development it would take away from existing businesses. We saw
area. As it is such a
how Noosa Civic was denied approval to extend its shopping complex to prevent an
oversupply. Well done and this hasn’t changed. There are still businesses in the
...
Noosa area closing their doors and many shops remain vacant. This is also evident up and
down the Sunshine Coast. Lets keep the existing shops, restaurants and service providers in
business.
To allow Coles to take away valuable recreational areas in order to build yet more
retailing/tavern facilities is not welcomed by the community.
Why is it that Peregian Beach and now Noosa are having their recreational areas threatened by
commercial development?
Please say No, No and No.
Yours faithfully,
