Findings
• Foreshore parklands and associated boating infrastructure by 2100 for 20 and 100 ARI events
• The Noosa River Holiday Park (Munna Point) by 2100 for the 100 ARI event
• Approximately 35 lots in the area bounded by Russell St to Weyba Rd, Gympie Terrace to Noosa
Parade by 2100 (based on a 1 in 100yr ARI)
• Approximately 80 lots (including approximately 40 dwellings) in the area bounded by Robert
Street to Eumundi-Noosa Road by 2100 (based on a 1 in 100yr ARI)
• Approximately 49 dwellings at the western end of Noosaville (in the area bounded by Hilton

• Approximately 30 lots impacted by 2100 in the area bound by Lake Weyba Drive and Noosa
National Park based on a 100 ARI scenario
• Significant areas of critical infrastructure (largely associated with inundation of underground
services, particularly the stormwater and sewer networks) are exposed under most ARI scenarios;
this poses a potential significant cost for Council to maintain operational infrastructure
• The Noosa Australian Football Club in Weyba Road is at a High risk level by 2070 (playing fields
only) due to permanent inundation and the 100 ARI stormtide event, with exposure extending to
road access and parking areas by 2100.
Permanent sea level rise will also pose a High to Very High risk at a number of locations between
2070 and 2100. This includes:
• Very High risk for Foreshore Parklands by 2070
• High risk for the Noosa Yacht Club and other jetties/boat ramps along the riverfront by 2070
• The Noosa River Holiday Park
• Approximately 30 lots (including approximately 15 dwellings) in central Noosaville (the area
bounded by Weyba Rd to Thomas Street, Gympie Terrace to Mary Street) by 2100

Noosaville (area bound by Thomas St to Robert St, Gympie Terrace to Gibson Road)
• Approximately 70 lots (including approximately 50 dwellings) in the area bounded by Robert
Street to Eumundi-Noosa Road by 2100
