2.2 SURROUNDING LAND USES
The development site is within an established high density residential area. The surrounding zoning is
High Density Residential and Tourist Accommodation zoned land. A mix of housing types including
single dwelling houses, dual occupancies and large unit developments surround the site. Sunshine
Beach is located ~300m to the east.
2.3 PRE-LODGEMENT MEETING
A pre-lodgement meeting was held for the proposed development on 25 July 2024 (Council Ref:
PLM24/0024). A summary of the key items and applicant response is provided in the table below:
