This development application does not comply with policies as set out below: -

   1. Protect the values of this land from Urban encroachment.
   2. Reinforce the regions unique identity and that of the Noosa Trail Network
   3. Impact the amenity enjoyed by other premises, including acoustic and visual qualities.
   4. Responsive to the rural character an amenity of the area.
   5. Preserve the scenic and environmental values.
   6. Do not distract from the visual amenity or the rural or residential amenity.
   7. Facilities should be co-located where practical.
   8. Comply with Noosa Planning Scheme Policy 23.

Many visitors, who use the Noosa Trail Network, frequent this area. A tower built in such a
significant location atop a spur on a ridgeline, protruding twenty meters higher than the treetops
and silhouetted against the skyline can hardly be classified as a low or medium impact.

I ask you to please ensure this development does not go ahead.
