As a resident since 1986 I support the Noosa Civic expansion because I think it will bring more jobs to the shire and customers from outside the shire. The latter is often overlooked when complaints are made that there are not enough residents to support new retail. If it is not built in the shire, surrounding shires will expand their shopping areas to the detriment of jobs in Noosa. This is evident with the delay in the Masters project which is allowing Bunnings to open a new store in Coolum. Masters and Bunnings in our shire relatively close to each other would be a big attraction for shoppers from outside Noosa, especially with the Noosa Civic expansion. Please keep jobs here and support these projects which will bring in many extra customers from other areas instead of them going to Maroochydore or Kawana.
