MCU12/0184 Concerns about development approval Neil McInnes
Subject: nzw BCS 1192 MCU12.0184 Notice of Submission Neil McInnes - FYI Councillors From: Neil McInnes Date: 2013-12-06T05:52:40+00:00 To: Internet Mailbox Sunshine Coast Regional Council Dear Councillor As manager of the Cooroy Village (corner Myall Street and Ferrells Road) and spokesman for its 100 residents, I would like to express my concern regarding the proposed Broiler Farm in West Cooroy. If this project were to go ahead it would impact on the health and comfort of our many elderly residents, particularly the constant late night traffic noise which will result in sleep depravation and unwanted stress. Furthermore, the dust, offensive odours and bird residue that will contaminate our village’s pristine environment is an unfair burden for those of us living along the route to be taken by vehicles servicing the Broiler Farm. I ask therefore that you consider the rights and wellbeing of the many elderly people living in our village, and reject this proposal completely. Early next week we will be presenting a submission to Council signed by the residents of Cooroy Village calling for this proposal to be scrapped. Yours sincerely Neil McInnes Manager - Cooroy Village Pty Ltd 1 Ferrells Road Cooroy Qld 4563 5447 6244 0418 593211
