REPORT
Under the provisions of the Local Government (De-amalgamation Implementation) Regulation
2013 and De-amalgamation Transfer Methodology, the Community Grants Policy adopted by the
Sunshine Coast Regional Council (SCRC) in 2013 was transferred to Noosa Council.
A review has been undertaken by staff to ensure the policy reflects the operational needs and
resources of the new Noosa Council. Accordingly, the attached Community Grants Policy is
presented for Council consideration.
Following discussions at the Infrastructure and Services Committee Meeting dated 25 March
2014, changes were requested to the proposed Community Grants Policy to reflect the current
Office and Liquor and Gaming Regulation terminology used.
