Dear Mr Lewis,

I would like to submit an objection to the development application, MCU12/0184 136 Top Forestry Rd Ridgewood - Animal Husbandry type 2 Poultry Farm - W Donald Milligan Pty Ltd.

My objection is based on the following:

Inconsistency with existing plans, including South East Queensland Regional Plan 2009-2031

Project scale too large for its location

Noise, odour and visual pollution – including ambient light pollution at night-time if it is a 24-hour operation.

Waste water issues – run-off would contaminate pristine water bodies on surrounding properties, which are known to contain fish and platypus, and are watering holes for livestock and wildlife. The property owner in question has previously developed his land in a way that resulted in major top-soil erosion into neighbouring water bodies.

Heavy vehicle traffic issues on substandard roads

Please take these issues into consideration and make an environmentally-sound decision that is reflective of the reputation of the Noosa Shire, by rejecting this application.

Regards,

Rebecca Biddulph.
