Log in to see the plans as drawn Staff monitor the premises to ensure that individuals over the age of 18 years are not supplying
liquor to minors. Persons found to be purchasing liquor for minors will be removed from the
premises.
The following forms of photographic identification can be used to determine proof of age:
• A proof of age card issued by the relevant authority in each state or territory (eg: The
Queensland Photo Identification Card or Keypass Identity Card);
• An Australian driver’s licence or Foreign Drivers Licence provided it has a photo and
the licence holder’s date of birth.
• An Australian or foreign passport.
10. Dealing with unduly intoxicated and disorderly patrons on the premises
The Licensee takes all reasonable steps to control the behaviour of patrons, whilst in and
around the premise.
Staff of YMBP are proactive and monitor patron behaviour at all times. Staff are trained in
identifying signs of intoxication and or disorderly behaviour.
All staff members have the right to refuse the service of alcohol to any person who displays signs
of intoxication. Service may also be refused to any person who creates discomfort or problems
for other patrons or behaves in a disorderly or quarrelsome manner.
Staff will always communicate in a respectful and non-confrontational manner when interacting
with patrons.
If staff of YMBP believe that a patron is showing signs of intoxication or is being quarrelsome
or disorderly, then the patron will be refused any further service of alcohol and if permitted to
remain on the premises will be offered water. If the patron continues to act in a disorderly
manner or fails to comply with requests from staff, then the patron will be asked to leave the
premises. If necessary, staff (management, or security if applicable) will escort the patron from
the premises.
If required, a taxi will be called to assist in removing the patron away from the venue.
Any incidents involving intoxicated or disorderly patrons are to be reported to Management.
If management are unable to resolve matters associated with patron behaviour, the
attendanceof the Queensland Police Service will be requested.
11. Limiting Impact of the Premises on the Amenity of the Community
The Licensee, management and staff endeavour to ensure that patrons of the venue do not
have an adverse impact on the amenity of the local neighbourhood, or the community at
large, by managing the behaviour of patrons when on site and at the time of dispersal.
The licensee takes all reasonable steps to provide a safe environment in and around the
premises, by employing good RSA practices and complying with the conditions endorsed on
the liquor licence, thus mitigating the potential for an adverse impact on the local
neighbourhood.
