During the site visit the flagging was still erected throughout the site and while not every
individual tree was checked it did appear that the tree retention had been undertaken generally
in accordance with the Vegetation Management Plan.
A Bushfire Management Easement was conditioned for the site with a vehicle turning area at
its far end. Minor adjustments to the vehicle turning area were made and an old Forest Red
Gum was retained as an additional tree. Having existing habitat value and in a suitable location
for long term retention, this retention is viewed as a benefit to the site.
Throughout the site minor Fill had been carefully placed to level the site and infill an old dam.
Having used Fill with a high sand content and being shallow in depth this is not expected to
negatively affect to the retained trees’ long-term health.
Post clearing and Earthworks.
