Insurance                                               There is significant risk to the community in recovering from
                                                        a disaster due to under-insured and non-insured residential
                                                        properties and businesses. While this is of concern to the LDMG,
                                                        it is considered that this is an issue for the insurance industry
                                                        and the State Government with input from the LDMG through its
                                                        members.
