Dear Sir / Madam
RE: DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION FOR OPERATIONAL WORKS – DRIVEWAY
Lot 368 on Crown Plan P93115
24 Currawong Crescent, Peregian Beach
We submit herewith a Development Application for Operational Works for works associated with the renovation
of an existing driveway and parking structure located in the road reserve adjacent to 24 Currawong Crescent,
Peregian Beach.
This development application is in response to Compliance Notice COM21/0569 dated 19 November 2021 in
which Council’s officers identified that the driveway is a non-standard crossover and requires development
approval. The parking structure has been in place since 1986 and was renovated by the current owner in 2003.
This proposal is for further renovation of the structure.
In support of the application, we provide the following:
DA Form 1
Noosa Council Compliance Notice COM21/0569
Proposal Plan
Crocker & Associates Certification of Parking Structure
The Noosa Plan 2020 classifies the land as being within the Low Density Residential Zone and identifies the
proposal as code assessable because the driveway is a non-standard crossover. In this regard, we address the
Works Code for Driveways on the page below.
Council’s application fee will be paid directly by the applicant within the next two days. Would Council please
confirm the application fee by email?
We choose to lodge this application electronically and it would be appreciated if all correspondence to do with
this application please be sent by email.
We trust the details of the Development Application set out above and attached are satisfactory. Thank you for
your consideration and please do not hesitate to contact the writer if further information is required.
Yours Sincerely
Wendy Wood | Principal
