GENERAL NOTES
1. These drawings shall be read in conjunction with the specifications, other consultants drawings
and specifications, and all authority standard drawings and specifications.
2. Before proceeding with the work any discrepancies in the contract documents shall be referred

REN for decision to the Superintendent.
3. All dimensions are in meters unless otherwise shown.
4. Do not scale from drawings, if in doubt, ASK!!

5. The contractor shall verify all locations of services, prior to construction. The contractor is
responsible for the costs involved in the protection and the repair of any damaged services as a

result of the work.
6. All materials and workmanship shall be in accordance with the Queensland Department of Main
Roads Standard Specifications and the Local Authority's Requirements.
7. The contractor shall prepare a workplace health and safety plan for the project and shall not
commence work until it is complete and evidence of such has been provided to the
Superintendent.
LOCALITY PLAN 8. The contractor shall not commence works until all required insurances are in place and evidence
SCALE: 1:1000 of such has been provided to the Superintendent.
9. The contractor shall be responsible for notifying all relevant authorities before commencing
work. Works shall not commence until a pre-start meeting is held with Council Officers.
10. Where traffic management is required as part of the works the contractor shall submit a traffic
PROPERTY DESCRIPTION management plan for approval by the superintendent prior to commencing work.
11. All environmental weeds shall be removed from the site.
Lot 102 on SP241371 12. All trees that are removed shall be mulched. The mulch shall be stockpiled on site for use in
erosion and sediment control or landscaping.
13. All levels are AHD. PRELIMINARY ISSUE
