Financial Sustainability
Tourism Noosa continues to remain sustainable with annual operating surpluses for the last 5
years, a working capital ratio consistent with the industry benchmark of 1.4 times, and sufficient
cash reserves to mitigate any unexpected shocks (noting though that free cash available of
$211k is less than the required $350k marketing contingency reserve taking into account all
current liabilities. In the event that Tourism Noosa was called upon to expend up to $350k of its
marketing contingency, it could do so in the normal course of business if it received its expected
accounts receivable).
