Properly made submission (object) Ralphe Rickman MCU13/0087
Subject: deb BCS 1192 MCU13/0087-99Noosa Drive, 3 and 29 Lanyana Way, Noosa Heads From: Ralphe Rickman Date: 2013-10-04T00:23:27+00:00 To: Internet Mailbox Sunshine Coast Regional Council Re the above application. I feel that the submitted plans do not fit the desired profile for the Noosa Junction area. Another shopping mall and residential accommodation would significantly go against the desires of the local community, creating vehicular blockages and destroying the small-town atmosphere, so enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. Noosa cannot afford to lose another recreational area( the bowls club) which is used by hundreds of locals and others each year. I have ascertained that over 2500 matches were played on those greens last year as well as practice sessions. Do we really need another tavern, bottle shop, restaurants, shops, offices? Ask the struggling business community if they think so. So many have closed down in recent years and there are so many empty shops and offices around. This application, if accepted, will impact adversely on the people of Noosa and should rightly be judged by an incoming Noosa Council and not by the present Authority. Ralphe Rickman 11 Margit Cres.
