4.     Recent achievements

The NAC has been able to achieve the following over the past 6 months:
    Progressed facility reopening following COVID-19 closure and increased operations as
     restrictions eased.
    Assisted key user groups to get back up and running at the NAC.
    Assisted the Noosa Swim Club and their new committee with regaining momentum, leading to
     a reinvigoration of club nights. These nights now attract in excess of 80 attendees whereas
     previously just a handful of people attended.
    Completed rectification works to facility decking.
    Replaced the 50m pool heat pump.

5.     Upcoming priorities

The following priorities will be key focuses throughout the second half of 2020/21:
     Continue safe management of the facility in line with COVID-safe plans and rebuilding of the
      centre’s customer and revenue base.
     Commence development of a 10-year masterplan outlining future facility and programming
      opportunities and possibilities.
     Determine the best operating model for the junior squad program following the departure of
      former squad contractors.
     Upgrade of the current centre management software to enable patrons to purchase
      memberships and visit passes online.
     Release ITQ for the replacement of centre’s main switchboard.
     Release ITQ for light pole footings replacement and associated works.
     Release tender for NAC café lease.
