Please accept my objection to the proposed Top Forestry Rd. Broiler Farm. MCU 12/0104

As a nearby resident, within sight of this property since 1987, I think this development              is
inappropriate   for this area for the following     reasons.

The topography        which includes all of West Coo roy is too steep and the accessability via the
winding roads with sharp bends all the way from the highway via Cooroy is hazardous,
especially on Top Forestry Rd which can be dusty when dry and slippery when wet. This was
a problem for most residents when the Forestry was harvesting. With the anticipated
increase of heavy traffic Top Forestry Rd will require more frequent             maintenance.    Who will
be responsible and who will cover the cost?

Depending on atmospheric         conditions,   espescially in dry times dust from both the road
surface and farm operation        could be a serious health problem for our tank water supplies. It
will also seriuosly impact on asthmatic sufferers. In the past we have unwillingly              accepted
the fact of spray drift from this property and any dust from the chicken sheds will
exascerbate our problems. The drift occurs during periods of "apparent"              still air and
temperature     inversions which are common in this area, also when westerly drift occurs.

I conclude that it would be more appropriate         and considerate of the developer to locate
such an operation       on flatter land with less hazardous road acccess closer to stock feed
supplies and the processors, and further from neighbouring             residents, not here!
