I inspected the completed house today and it looks amazing and is in no way dominant or out of character from the street or neighbouring properties. The attached plans from Aboda show the as constructed outcome which we are now seeking Council approval for. The application will be a change to the existing approval to allow a minor height increase (over 8m) due to the fall of the land to the southeast corner of the site. The encroachment is best described as a pinch point for the site with around 5m of fall from the northwest to the south east corner. It's fair to say that if the site was flatter (with less cross fall) we would not have this issue. I also note that the development is still only 2 storeys in the area where we slightly exceed 8m. I understand that body corporate support is required to accompany to application to Council and that you are the consulting town planner for the body corporate. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help arrange email support from the body corporate to lodge this application. Is this something you could facilitate for Brook and his parents? I have attached the original body corporate email consent, amended plans and existing approval. Did you also have a copy of the Plan of Development No 67 handy? Thanks for your time reviewing this email. If you need anything further please let me know.
