3.2       Vegetation Hazard Classes
The following vegetation hazard classes (classified in accordance with QFES (2019)) were identified
within the assessment area which includes a 100m buffer surrounding the site:
      •    Vegetation Hazard Class 3.1 - Notophyll vine forest;
      •    Vegetation Hazard Class 8.1 – Wet eucalypt tall open forest;
      •    Vegetation Hazard Class 41.4 – Continuous low grass or tree cover in built up areas;
      •    Vegetation Hazard Class 42.6 – Nil to very low vegetation cover; and
      •    Vegetation Hazard Class 43.6 - Water bodies or very low vegetation cover.
Plan BF01a and BF01b – Vegetation Hazard Classes depicts the distribution of the VHC’s across
the assessment area.
