3.3      Bushfire Hazard Sub-Units
Plan BF02 – Sub-Units identifies the site scale Potential Bushfire Intensity classes across the site.
Plan BF02 identifies most of the site is affected by a Low Potential Bushfire Intensity area with only
the western limit of Area 3 and the eastern limit of Area 4 affected by a Potential Impact Buffer.
Several sub-units, including sub unit 6 which dominates Assessment Area 2 and 3, are eligible to be
patch and corridor filtered out of Figure 2 due to their limited patch size (i.e. each individual unit is
less than 0.5ha and/or less than 50m width). These small sub-units have been merged with the
dominant adjoining Vegetation Hazard Class.

3.4      Overall Local Hazard Map
Plan BF03 – Local Hazard Map identifies the Potential Bushfire Intensity classes across the site and
includes a 100m wide Potential Impact Buffer.
Plan BF03 identifies most of the site is affected by a Low Potential Bushfire Intensity area with limited
Potential Impact Buffer areas. Areas 1 and 4 are in a Low Potential Bushfire Intensity area. The
western limit of Area 3 and the eastern limit of Area 4 affected by a Potential Impact Buffer

The Local Hazard Map presented in Plan BF03 is to supersede the SPP broadscale mapping
attributed to the site and should be used to guide the formulation of appropriate site-based bushfire
management measures for the proposal.
