The Noosa Koala Conservation Plan identifies eight objectives for each of the key policy
areas:
1.2.1 Conserve koalas and habitat through statutory provisions
Noosa’s koalas are listed as ‘vulnerable’ at both National and State levels. Figure 1
below summarises the various legislation, policy, guidelines and plans that are aimed
at conserving koalas.
