3.0 The Proposal
This application is for a Development Permit - Material Change of Use for a Dwelling House. The
subject site is 78 Davis Road, Cootharaba QLD 4565, (3 SP 139163). The site is located in the Rural
Zone.
This code assessable application is triggered because the dwelling will be located within 200m of
agricultural land. The dwelling has been positioned in the middle of the site to ensure ample
setbacks to adjoining properties are provided. The dwelling will not impact on the quality of the
agricultural land and as it is an accepted use within the zone should be supported by Council.
