4. Material Change of Use
The building is operating with five (5) tenancies vacant including CC12, CC16, CC18, CC19 and
CC20 (Refer to Figure 2 above).

This application is seeking a Development Permit for a Material Change of Use to establish a an
Indoor Sport and Recreation use within tenancies CC12, CC16, CC18, CC19 and CC20 within Noosa
Civic ‘Medihub’.

The proposed use is inconsistent and subject to Impact Assessment, however taking into
condisideration the wider uses within the Civic Centre, the nature of the use is considered
appropriate in the context of commercial, office and health care uses and also to provide
recreational opportunities for the health and wellbeing of the community.

There will be no alteration required to the external built form or architectural intent of the
building.
