Council - Representations letter - O Boats
Attached to the e-mail MCU22/0048 & OPW22/0089 - Representations.
relevant Australian Standards and industry best practice environmental management.
Any repair works must be completed, with certification submitted by the auditor to
Council, prior to the use of the new works (pontoon/jetty extensions)”.
Comment
The proposed development does not include any modification to the existing onsite fuel storage
tanks, bowsers and associated pipework, valves, vents or systems and they will continue to
operate as they currently do. In addition, the applicant has routine safety audits undertaken for
the current fuel facility and the most recent was completed on 14 December 2021 (refer
attached certificate). With no modifications to the fuel system proposed and a current
certificate in place, there is no requirement for an additional audit as requested by Council and
we therefore request that this condition is also deleted.
Should you have any questions with respect to the above, please do not hesitate to contact
me direct.
Yours faithfully
