                              NOTICE OF MOTION

    COUNCIL MEETING:                         Ordinary Meeting, 20 September 2018

    I hereby notify of my intention to move the following motion at the Ordinary Meeting
    to take place on Thursday, 20 September 2018.

    RECORDING OF COUNCIL MEETINGS
    That Council:
    1.    Agree to digitally video record, live web stream, and archive online all formal
          Committee and Council meetings (including meetings of the Planning and Environment
          Committee, Services and Organisation Committee, General Committee, Ordinary
          Meetings and Special Meetings of Council) and make the live streaming and recordings
          available to the public.
    2.    Request the CEO to investigate and recommend the most cost-effective methodologies
          for recording, live web streaming, and archiving of all formal Committee and Council
          meetings to start live streaming no later than the first formal meeting of January 2019.
    3.    Note that recordings of meetings or portions of meetings closed to the public pursuant
          to Section 275 of the Local Government Regulation 2012 will not be made available to
          the public.
