    D) Southern Construction Zone

 The vegetation in this construction area demonstrates general consistency with remnant
sclerophyll forest (‘Least concern’ RE 12.9-10.17 Eucalyptus acmenoides, E. major, E.
siderophloia +/- Corymbia citriodora subsp. variegata woodland on sedimentary rocks,
which is mapped immediately to the south and east). Refer to Figure 9.
 The remnant forest is dominated by tall Pink Bloodwood and Turpentine (Syncarpia
glomulifera), with dbh of 200mm to 600mm and heights of approximately 15-20m,
occurring within the proposed clearing area.
 There are seven significant native trees with a dbh of 500mm or more occurring with high
value habitat (some with visible nests), shading, and canopy connectivity. These
specimens are shown in Figure 5 and Appendix E. A minimum of two of these tree
should be retained. An arborist will be required to monitor TPZ’s during works if excavation
         is to occur.
 The mid stratum consists of smaller trees, shrubs and vines including Alphitonia excelsa,
Macaranga tanarius, Lophostemon suaveolons, Pilidiostigma rhytispermum, and Smilax
         australis.
 Native and some non-native grasses and forbs occur in the understorey (e.g. Ottochloa
sp, Oplismenus aemulus and Imperata cylindrica, with some mown lawn grasses and
weeds (e.g. Blue top and Siratro).
 Proposed works may impact up to 2,200 m2 of native vegetation and grass areas within
         the Southern Construction Zone.

    E) Eastern Construction Area

The construction footprint for the new meditation centre in the east of the site is composed of
mowed grasses. There is no requirement for clearing of additional native vegetation in this area.
